Description

The Zwilling Now S carving knife is perfect for cutting thin slices of meat and fish, thanks to its long and low blade. The blade is less than 3 cm high, so slices are less likely to stick to the knife than knives with a higher blade length. When slices stick to the blade, they are also more likely to tear. This is what makes this carving knife perfect for cutting thin slices.

Zwilling Now S blade and handle

The blade is made from ice-hardened Friodur steel. During this process the steel is heated in 4 stages to 1000°C and cooled to-70 °C. Zwilling perfected this technique, which guarantees optimum sharpness, sustainability, elasticity and corrosion resistance. The knife is sharpened in five steps and the result is a perfectly sharpened knife. The handle is made from plastic and features a nice grippy texture.

It’s best to wash your Zwilling Now S knives by hand. Detergent can have a negative effect on steel. Putting these knives through the dishwasher can therefore cause spots of rust to appear on the blade. In addition, detergent can also affect the handles of these knives, causing them to become dull over time. If you want to keep your knives looking great for a longer time, wash them by hand!
