Description
This WMF bread cutting board is a bamboo bread board perfect for all breads that leave behind many crumbs. Crumbs fall between the slats into an extendable stainless steel collection tray. No more mess! In addition, the cutting board has a handy notch to store your bread knife safely and practically. Almost any bread knife, with a maximum handle length of 15 cm and maximum blade length of 20 cm, fits into this notch. The cutting board is 42 cm long and 24 cm wide.
Sustainable Bamboo Wood
Bamboo doesn’t absorb any water and is therefore the perfect material for a cutting board. In addition, bamboo is an incredibly sustainable type of wood. The only thing bamboo plantations need is sunlight and water. Within a couple of weeks the bamboo stems are ready to be harvested. After the harvest the plants stay in place and continue to grow until the next harvest.
WMF Cromargan®
The collection tray is made of Cromargan®. This is the registered trademark of WMF’s 18/10 stainless steel, since 1927. The name Cromargan® is a compound of the terms Crom and Argan. Crom, because the steel has a particularly high chromium content, and Argan because of its silvery shine. The advantages of this material are: it is stainless, scratch-resistant and highly resistant to acid discolouration. Great for use in the kitchen.
