If, like many shooters, you find the recoil of most .40 S&W ammunition excessive, try Winchester Train & Defend ammo. The Train & Defend line consists of ballistically matched pairs of defensive hollow point and economical range loads, both of which are designed to produce reduced recoil.
This ammo is part of the Train component and fires a 180 grain full metal jacket bullet at 925 feet per second. While still fairly snappy, the felt recoil from this ammo will be somewhat less than that of most other .40 Smith & Wesson loads.
