Description
9/8/22 – This is an original WW2 production US M1 Helmet with an original liner. The helmet is earlier WW2 style with fixed bales and front-seam. Just above the front seam on the interior shell is a “204A” heat stamp number. The shell has a nice exterior with mild patina but no dents or issues. There’s some mild interior rust and discoloration. Attached to the bales is an original canvas chin strap as shown. The liner has a painted exterior and is in great overall condition. The interior is maker stamped by Mine Safety Appliance. A very nice, early wartime example.
