Description
1/4/22 – This is an original WW1 era US trench fighting knife with scabbard. The scabbard has been painted black, but is an original and period correct piece. There is a faint remnant of the Jewell 1918 maker stamp on the scabbard. Metal fittings are in tact. The blade is in great shape as well with very nice bluing throughout and minimal discoloration. The wood handle has no chips or major issues. The hand guard has surface rust and patina throughout.
