Description
12/30/22 – This is an original WW1 Era German Artillery sword. The blade is in excellent condition showing only minor signs of use wear throughout. The handle and pommel are in good condition with minor oxidation throughout and a beautifully engraved acorn leave pattern. There is a cross cannon insignia engraved on the right side of the cross guard. A few of the handle’s wires are lose but most are intact. Both of the eyes are present on the pommel. The scabbard is in good condition showing signs of wear throughout, showing some paint chipping and oxidation. Overall an excellent example of a German military sword from WW1.
