1/12/23 – This is an original WW2 wartime production Type 30 Arisaka rifle bayonet. The bayonet is a variation D, based on Labar’s book on Japanese Bayonets. The blade is blued and excellent with some mild finish loss, but minimal wear overall. The bayonet also features a straight crossguard and bird’s head pommel. The crossguard and pommel have some mild surface patina and finish loss but no rust or pitting. The wood grips are in great condition as well. The pommel is serial numbered and stamped with a Nagoya Arsenal inspector stamp. Comes with an original metal scabbard that’s in great condition with dark surface patina and no dents.
