12/22/22 – This is a terrific and correct Colt 1911A1 from 1943.Matching numbered slide, proper inspection proofs throughout, and proper Colt barrel with ‘G’ marking under the lug. The pistol has 97-98% of the original parkerized finish remaining, with nearly all of the wear on the underside of the slide from rubbing against the frame.Strong, shiny bore.Excellent grips with only minor smoothing.Risdon magazine.Comes with a mint 1943 holster that was made by Graton & Knights Co.
