Description
8/1/22 – This is an original Type 98 Japanese Officer Sword. The sword comes with an original scabbard and an Army Officer Tassel. The blade is factory made with nice natural patina on the hilt. The blade has a tempered edge and no chips or imperfections along the edge. There is some mild speckling and light areas of discoloration and surface patina along the edge however. The fittings and handle have handling wear and surface aging but no major issues. Some of the fittings are numbered as shown. The tassel is a nice brown and blue color with no notable flaws.
