Description
4/14/22 – This is an original WW2 production Nazi SS Dagger. The dagger is in good overall condition and comes with an original scabbard. The blade has some light oxidation and scabbard wear throughout, as well as general fading of the “Meine Ehre heisst Treue” inscription, and fading around the maker stamp and RZM distributor stamp. There is, however still evidence of the original cross-graining. The reverse of the blade is maker stamped by “F&A Helbig (Gaegler), and is RZM stamped with a distributor number. The hand guard and pommel are in great condition with minimal wear. The wood grip has some mild fading to the black finish, but there are no cracks or chips in the wood. the scabbard is in great overall condition.
