10/5/22 – This is a near-mint example of a Smith & Wesson Model 49 revolver, manufactured in 1979 and chambered in .38 Special. 2″ barrel. The gun is all matching and has retained nearly all of its original high polish finish. There is one small dot of discoloration on the left side of the frame, very light wear on some of the high edges of the cylinder, and a very light roll mark on the cylinder. Excellent case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. Comes with excellent hand-checkered Walnut grips. Mint bore.
