Description
1/18/22 – This is an original WW2 German NCO Sword. The sword features a Lion’s Head with red ruby eyes as the pommel. The handle is in great condition with no cracks or chips, while the metal hand guard and pommel have patina and edge wear throughout. The portepee has some mild fraying but no major damage and the knot is tight. The scabbard has some mild paint loss, mostly towards the tip end. There are no significant dents in the metal. The blade is in great shape with some normal surface wear but no major discoloration spots. There’s some surface scratches around the maker stamp on one side of the base – see photos.
