10/28/22 – This is a scarce, excellent Winchester Model 12 shotgun in riot configuration.It was manufactured in 1942 and issued to the U.S. military.The receiver is marked ‘U.S.’ with the flaming bomb, and the stock features the ‘W.B.’ inspector’s stamp and crossed cannons cartouche.The original bluing is excellent with some high edge wear on the receiver, and some oxidation on the barrel.Excellent bore and smooth action.Excellent wood furniture with only minor handling wear.
