9/1/22 – This is an excellent example of a scarce, second variation Remington Rand 1911A1 from 1943.It has the proper 2nd variation slide with larger legend, and is in the correct serial range.It has about 95-97% of the original Dulite finish, with minor thinning on the front strap and grip safety.Correct HS barrel with good rifling but there is some minor pitting in the grooves.Excellent, sharply checkered grips.Earlier magazine with two-tone finish.
