8/24/22 – This is a rare SS contract K98 rifle as produced at the Steyr factory in 1944.Receiver is marked ‘bnz / 4’ with single rune marking.Matching numbers throughout, including the stock and handguard internally.Other numbered parts include the front band, rear band, rear sight, bolt, safety and floorplate.Stock has waffenamt on right face, but may have been lightly sanded at some point in the past.Bore is excellent and shiny with strong rifling.Finish on the receiver is excellent overall but most of the finish loss is on the barrel or trigger group.
