3/29/21 – This is a very nice example of a rare FN Browning High Power delivered to the Estonian government in 1937. The gun is all matching and has the proper “E.V.” proof on the back strap. “E.V.” stands for “Eesti Vabarik” or “Republic of Estonia”, meaning this particular gun was issued to the Estonian military. This gun also has a very early serial and was part of a shipment of just over 3,000 guns. It has an adjustable tangent rear sight and slotted frame. It has retained about 93% of its original finish. There are some areas of wear on the front strap and near the ejection port. There is spotty wear on the left side of the slide. Spotty freckling on the straps and around the muzzle. It comes with excellent wood grips and a period-correct magazine. Minty bore.
