3/4/21 – This is a nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military proofs throughout. It has retained roughly 50-60% of its original finish. There is significant thinning on the front strap and both sides of the slide. Wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide as well. Areas of spotty oxidation on the left side of the slide. Excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore is excellent – shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
