3/24/22 – This is a nice example of an FN Browning Model 1922 issued to the Nazi military during WW2. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 140” Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a fairly worn 1943-dated holster and one un-marked post-war magazine. The holster has a few small holes in the top flap (likely from an embellishment that was removed), and the magazine pouch was removed. Partially visible ink stamp on the inside. The gun itself has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the left side of the slide, where the wear is concentrated mostly around the high edges. Wear and some minor pin-pricking around the muzzle. Tiny freckling on both grip straps. The grips have been replaced. The bore is near-mint.
