4/15/22 – This is a “mummified” French MAS MLE 1936-51 rifle. The gun is still entirely covered in its original wrapping and wax coating, often referred to as a”mummified” gun. This one also comes with the original arsenal certification paperwork, serialized to the gun and dated 9/12/71. The only unwrapped portion of the gun is the left side of the receiver, the rear sight, and part of the bolt. From what we can see, the gun is in mint condition and we have no reason to believe it is not completely matching. We don’t want to remove the wrapping, so we can’t say what the bore condition is.
