3/10/22 – This is a minty example of a rare “Side Latch” Mauser Model 1910. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Crown U” proofs. It comes as a rig with an excellent black leather holster and two nickel-plated magazines. The holster is numbered (does not match the gun) and has an ink stamp on the inside that reads “Waffenmagazin der B.S.W.W.”. The gun has retained about 98% of its original finish. There are just hints of wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. A hint of thinning on the front strap as well. Comes with an excellent period-correct wood grip – a few tiny handling marks here and there. The bore has strong rifling with minor pin-pricking here and there.
