1/27/22 – This is a minty example of an Ortgies Pocket pistol, chambered in .25 ACP. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” commercial proofs. There is a “Germany” export marking on the underside of the frame, indicating this pistol was intended for sale in the international commercial market. It has retained about 98% of its original finish. There is very minor wear concentrated around the high edges of the slide, some very minor freckling on the front strap, and some brown patina on the back strap. Comes with excellent period-correct wood grips (some minor bruises here and there) and a factory-nickeled magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling with just one area of minor oxidation.
