Description
5/26/22 – This is a near-mint example of an FN Browning Model 1922 issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 140” military acceptance proofs throughout. There is an added lanyard loop at the bottom of the frame – this is a post-war French police modification. It comes as a rig with a generic tan leather holster and a numbered magazine that does not match the gun – most likely a police numbered mag. There is almost no actual finish loss on this gun, but there is some light spotty freckling on the front strap. Comes with nice period-correct wood grips – the left panel was cut down to accommodate the lanyard loop. There is some minor bruising along the edges. Mint bore.
