9/21/22 – This is a near-mint example of a Colt Police Positive Target Revolver, manufactured in 1911 and chambered in .22 LR. 6″ barrel. It is all matching and comes with an original matching-numbered box, matching test target, cleaning rod, and even comes with the original Provisional Firearm Registration card with a matching serial number. The box is fairly torn along the edges. The gun itself has retained about 98% of its original high polish finish. There is minor muzzle wear, some tiny scratches along the barrel, and a very light roll mark on the cylinder. Comes with excellent hand-checkered wood grips. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and a couple of small areas of minor pin-pricking. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
