Description
7/28/22 – This is a nice example of a Mauser Model 1914 manufactured in the 1920’s. It is all matching except for the side plate and has the proper “Crown U” proofs. It comes as a rig with a generic un-marked leather holster and a matching-numbered magazine. The magazine appears to have been numbered at a police arsenal, so we assume this gun was eventually issued to the German police force. It has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. Most of the bluing loss is on the front strap, but there is also minor wear around the high edges and around the muzzle. Comes with a nice period-correct wood grip. The bore has good rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout.
