Description
7/26/22 – This is a nice example of a Mauser Model 1914 sold in the commercial market in the 1920’s. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown U” commercial proofs. It has retained roughly 60% of its original finish. The wear is fairly even throughout, and most of the remaining finish is on the right side of the gun. An area of light scratching on the left side of the frame. Minor pin-pricking on the front strap. Comes with a pretty nice period-correct wood grip and one proper magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
