5/31/22 – This is an original US Navy WW2 Diving knife. Made by Morse Diving Equipment, and known as the Mark V diving knife, which accompanied the mark V diving helmet. The knife features a 6 7/8th inch blade that’s serrated on one edge. There’s some mild surface oxidation and aging throughout the blade but the edge is excellent and unsharpened. The wood handle has no cracks or chips and is excellent overall. The scabbard is brass and in excellent condition with a maker stamp near the mouth as shown.
