7/12/22 – This is an original L.C. Smith Field Grade side by side shotgun from ~1949.All original with excellent blue on the receiver but general thinning on the sides of the barrels and trigger group.The receiver does show a good amount of the original case-hardening remaining with some nice, bright blue accents.It’s a double trigger, hammerless shotgun with 30″ barrels.The stock has minor handling wear but no cracks or notable chips.Excellent bores.Buttplate does have a small chip in the top.
