Description
5/31/22 – This is a late / end-of-war production Type 30 Japanese Arisaka rifle bayonet. The bayonet shows late war features like a crude wood handle, straight pommel, slab-side blade, and a bamboo wood scabbard. The blade has some rough machine marks throughout but is in great condition with minimal staining or wear. Maker stamped on one side of the ricasso. The pommel is proof stamped and serial numbered. The scabbard fits somewhat loosely, and can slide on and off just with gravity, but this is common for these late-war production bayonets.
