Description
3/22/22 – This is a nice example of a nearly all-correct I.B.M. M1 Carbine from 1944.A full parts guide is included in the listing, and the unmarked trigger and safety are likely the only “incorrect” parts on the rifle. The Q-TX marking on the trigger housing is actually a rare Un-Quality example, but several resources mention they can be found on IBM carbines. The adjustable rear sight and round bolt are correct for this serial number. The finish is original and in good condition but there are some splotches in the finish on the receiver, and some thinning of the barrel. The gun has not been re-worked or been through an arsenal, though.Excellent, shiny bore.Stock is in great condition with minor dings but sharp cartouches.Comes with a canvas sling.
