5/20/22 – This is an excellent example of a French MAC Model 1935-S. The Pistolet automatique mod?®le 1935S (Automatic Pistol Model 1935S) or Mod?®le (Mle.) 1935 S is a semi-automatic pistol chambered for the 7.65mm Longue cartridge. A competitor in the 1935Äì1937 French military trials to select a new sidearm, it initially lost to the SACM 1935A, but production was ordered nonetheless to alleviate in shortages in pistols in the runup to the Second World War. MAC made about 56,000 of these pistols from 1946-56. This one is all matching and has almost no actual finish loss. However, there are areas of pin-pricking throughout, most noticeable on the grip straps. Comes with nice black plastic grips and a proper magazine. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with minor pitting throughout.
