4/20/21 – This is an extremely rare, one of a kind, experimental P.38 holster made by AKAH during 1939. The holster is cited in Alex Krutzek’s P.38 book on page 433 as an early sample made by AKAH which the military never adopted. The holster is akah stamped on the front leather and dated 1939 on the back leather. Under the date stamp is a “NR. 002” stamp, perhaps indicating this is the 2nd they made, or the 2nd version of the P.38 holster they were making for the P.38. The interior leather is dropping style, and has room for two magazines. The condition is beautiful with excellent leather, stitching, and overall craftsmanship.Hischier collection.
