4/1/22 – This an excellent example of a K98 rifle put together at the Czech BRNO factory immediately after WW2 using leftover Nazi parts. In this case, the receiver reads “dou 45”, indicating it was manufactured at the Waffenwerke Brunn factory in 1945. The receiver is marked with the proper Czech Lion proofs. There is one waffen Nazi military acceptance proof on the base of the rear sight. The bolt handle is matching to the receiver. All other parts, including the stock and handguard, are un-numbered. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition. There is minor muzzle wear, one spot of thinning on the barrel, and some light scratchy wear on the front barrel band. Excellent stock with a painted “536” rack number on the right side of the butt stock. Mint bore.
