Description
1/19/22 – This is an excellent example of an Arisaka Type 99 rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is all matching but the original Imperial mum stamp on the receiver has been ground off. The gun comes with a period-correct bayonet and scabbard. The bayonet is numbered but does not match the gun. Overall, the gun in excellent condition, retaining almost all of its bluing. There is very light thinning on the floor plate and trigger guard and very minor freckling around the muzzle, on the front barrel band, on the floor plate, and on the trigger guard. The stock is nice with minor bruises and scratches throughout (typical for these guns). The bore is mint.
