7/20/22 – This is an excellent example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is “US Property” marked, has the proper “FJA” inspector initials, and has a cross-cannon military cartouche. Also has a proper HS High Standard barrel. The gun has retained about 96-97% of its parkerized finish. There is just very minor wear around the high edges and around the muzzle and one small area of very light spotty wear on the top of the slide. Comes with excellent reddish plastic grips and a period-correct “S” marked magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
