Description
1/11/23 – This is an excellent example of a BYF 41 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 655” military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 96% of its original finish. There is very minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the side rails. Minor wear at the base of both grip straps. A small area of very light scratching on the left side of the barrel. A few tiny dots of discoloration on the back strap and on the right side of the frame. Fitted with an excellent set of matching-numbered, “Eagle 655” proofed wood grips. Comes with a period-correct magazine that is not matching to the gun. The bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there is light freckling throughout.
