10/19/22 – This is an excellent example of a matching and original Mauser K98 from 1940, with ’42’ receiver marking.The blue shows some wear on the bands and trigger guard, as well as the bolt handle.The stock is in great shape with no cracks or chips, just a gouge on the right side.All numbered parts match, including the stock, handguard, bands, buttplate, bolt assembly, trigger group assembly, rear sight assembly, etc.Bore is shiny with strong rifling, but has a little freckling toward the muzzle end.Comes with a cleaning rod and a postwar sling.
