Description
6/15/21 – This is an excellent example of a British Enfield SHTLE Mk III. The receiver is dated 1917, but it is marked as assembled in 1943. The gun is all matching and has the proper British military proofs. It has retained most of its finish with minor wear on some of the high edges and a few minor scratches here and there. The stock is excellent and very smooth, so it was likely lightly sanded. It still has wings on the wooden rear sight barrel cover which often break off. Comes with and original canvas sling. The bore has strong riling with some minor spotty oxidation throughout.
