Description
8/6/21 – This is an original WW2 Nazi German Winter Camo helmet that was later repurposed for Police combat use. The helmet still shows remnants of the white paint from the winter camo, as shown. There is some normal paint loss and mild patina throughout the exterior, but no dents or major flaws. The left side of the helmet has a police eagle decal and the right side has a Nazi shield logo. The interior of the shell is size 64 and “NS” maker stamped for Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke AG, Schwerte. There’s also a serial number DN18. The leather liner is in good condition with typical surface wear.
