5/27/22 – Original and good condition.Belgian made, Egyptian bayonet for the FN Model 1949 self-loading rifle. The 9″ blade is hollow-ground with a double edge, similar in appearance to a dagger. Small chip in the edge near the tip, and appears to be lightly sharpened. Secure wooden grips. Steel scabbard has minor distortions, but does not affect the insertion or removal of the blade. Persian characters pommel and the end of the scabbard throat.
