Description
6/9/22 – This is a very nice example of an Eddystone Model 1917 issued to the US military in 1918. Most of the parts are “E” marked, but the barrel is Winchester and dated September of 1918. Flaming bomb and Eagle Head military proofs on the receiver. The stock has an “S SAA” San Antonio Arsenal rework marking. There is also a “P” proof and Eagle Head stamp on the underside of the wrist. There isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, but there is splotchy discoloration on the receiver. Excellent stock with only a few light handling marks and scratches here and there. Minty bore.
