Description
4/12/22 – This is a very nice example of an early Colt Ace Model 1911A1 manufactured in 1932 and chambered in .22 LR. The gun is all correct and has retained about 90% of its original high polish Colt bluing. The vast majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, so the profile views are excellent. Otherwise, there are just hints of wear around the high edges and minor muzzle wear. There are some very light scratches here and there, most obvious at the front edge of the right side of the slide. The front sight also appears slightly modified, though not replaced.Comes with minty grips and two .22 caliber Ace magazines – one is two-tone. The bore is mint.
