Description
1/6/23 – This is an original pair of 6×30 German binoculars from WW2. The binoculars come with a leather case that has a maker stamp, waffen proof stamp, and date stamp for 1944. The binoculars are maker stamped by the same maker code “cxn” and are in great overall condition. There’s some mild surface wear, mostly around the edges of the metal. The black painted finish is chipped in a few areas but still mostly intact. The optics are crisp and clear with functional adjustment knobs. There’s some mild speckling through the optics, which are likely dark specks of dirt. The leather lanyard is still attached and in good condition. The case has a broken belt loop that has been glued back in place, as shown in the last photo of this listing.
