4/19/22 – This is a very nice example of an Inglis Hi Power Mk 1* issued to the Canadian military in October of 1944. It has It is all matching and has the proper Canadian proofs on the slide and frame. This one actually has Belgian proofs on the barrel – it’s possible the FN factory sent some barrels to the Inglis factory. There is no maple leaf seal on the front strap. The gun has retained about 93-94% of its matte finish. Most of the wear is on the front strap, but there is also minor wear around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Original lanyard ring is intact. Comes with nice black plastic grips (some minor scuffs here and there) and a proper “JI” Inglis magazine. The rifling in the bore is poor, and there is pitting throughout.
