Description
11/16/22 – This is a nice example of a BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has all “Waffen 135” military acceptance proofs. It has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is on the front strap, but there is also thinning along the barrel and minor wear around the high edges of the slide. Some small dots of oxidation here and there. Comes with excellent reddish bakelite grips and an “Eagle 135” marked Mauser magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is obvious freckling and spotty oxidation throughout. De-cocker is functional.
