Description
7/13/22 – This is a very nice example of a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained about 90-92% of its original bluing. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there are also hints of wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide. Comes with excellent brown bakelite grips and a rare late-war “U” marked magazine. The bore has strong rifling with just some light frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
