2/25/22 – This is a beautiful Remington 03-A4 sniper rifle from 1943.It was postwar re-worked at an arsenal, with re-parkerized finish on receiver, barrel and mount.It’s an original 03-A4 though, with receiver markings and serial positioned to be visible around scope mount.Barrel is Remington-made, and dated to July of 1943, same month and year as the receiver.The gun comes with an original Weaver 330 scope with clear optics, though there is a bubble or spot in the very edge of the sight picture.It’s attached by a Redfield mount.The stock correctly has a K in the safety cutoff, which stands for Keystone, who supplied stocks to Remington.But, no other markings so likely wasn’t military accepted, and probably replaced during re-work.Minty bore aside from a little frost near the muzzle.Comes with canvas sling.
