Description
7/18/22 – This is a beautiful example of a dual-tone BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 135” military acceptance proofs. It gets its dual-tone appearance from a phosphated frame and slide and a blued barrel. This one has retained nearly all of its original finish with just hints of wear on some of the high edges and around the muzzle. A couple of small dots of discoloration here and there in the phosphate (typical). Comes with excellent bakelite grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore is stone-mint. De-cocker is functional.
