Description
12/29/22 – This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 44 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. It is mostly mismatched but does have a fully intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. Comes with an original folding bayonet. The metal parts have retained about 96% of their original bluing. Minor wear around the muzzle. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is noticeable spotty oxidation around the muzzle, on the front barrel band, and along the bayonet. Some very light spotty oxidation on the floor plate and trigger guard. The wood is very nice with only minor bruising throughout. Mint bore.
