Description
11/15/22 – This is an original 2nd model Luftwaffe dagger from WW2. The dagger blade is maker stamped by Paul Weyersberg with a Luftwaffe proof stamp, eagle/5 above the maker stamp. The blade is in great condition with some mild surface scratching and scabbard wear, but overall the shiny nickel finish has minimal discoloration. The hand guard and pommel have typical surface patina and signs of aging but no rust or pitting. The bakelite handle has no cracks or chips and a tightly wound chord. The scabbard has surface discoloration and patina throughout, but no dents.
