4/12/22 – This is an original WW2 Luftwaffe Dagger by Gustav Spitzer. The dagger comes with an original scabbard, and is in excellent overall condition. The blade has excellent cross-graining throughout and minimal oxidation. There are a few light areas of patina, but no signs of sharpening and generally a very clean blade. Maker stamped on one side of the ricasso. The burnt orange handle has no cracks or chips, and a tight gold weave wound around the handle. The hand guard and pommel have some light patina but no major issues. The scabbard has no dents but does show some dark patina and surface wear along with mild finish loss.
